Londres - Ateliers carnet de voyage au Lycée Charles de Gaulle

Juste avant d'animer mon atelier "Carnet de voyage" au Lycée français de Londres. Patricia et Caroline du CDI m'accueillent dans leur médiathèque lumineuse, dans les anciens headquarters du Général de Gaulle.
/ Welcome to the french lycée in London. Patricia and Caroline organised workshops with me for teenagers here in the bright school library, which used to be General de Gaulle's headquarters.


Les ateliers seront variés pour 7 classes de seconde (14 / 15 ans) :
- Préparation d'un carnet fait main pour un voyage scolaire à Malaga, cours de travaux pratiques, en espagnol por favor!
- Initiation au carnet reportage, disparités sociales en Amérique latine, también en español!
- Carnet imaginaire, le voyage de Candide, en français littéraire, dans la langue de Voltaire,
- Carnet ethnologue, un regard écrit et dessiné, bienveillant, sur des populations aux cultures riches...

Sur les pas de Claude Levi-Strauss en textes illustrés, dessins et collages...

Les élèves se prêtent au jeu et réalisent de magnifiques carnets. Ils les continueront en classe autour du programme annuel, liant l'exercice ludique au savoir à acquérir.

Caroline du CDI m'a écrit un feedback chaleureux :
"Encore mille mercis d'être venue nous voir, malgré le froid hivernal. Tout le monde a été ravi et nous attendons avec impatience ton retour l'an prochain."

/ These workshops deal with several subjects for 7 classes (14/15 years old) :
- How to prepare our own sketchbook, for a class going to Malaga, workshop in spanish por favor,
- Report sketchbook, about social issues in South America, also en español!
- Imagination sketchbook, Candide's trip, in literary french, just like Voltaire,
- Ethnologic sketchbook, written and drawn sight, kindly speaking about different cultures...

Walking with Claude Levi-Strauss, through illustrated texts, drawings and collages... 

Students really play the game and realise beautiful sketchbooks. They will go on creating them in class, mixing it with the annual program, as a funny exercice dealing with the knowledge to gain.

Caroline from the library wrote me a cheerful feedback:
"Thank you so much for visiting us. Everybody was happy with the workshops and we're looking forward to seeing you again next year."

  

Si dans la bibliothèque, on se croit en France, le défilé de bus rouges à deux étages nous rappelle où on est...
En face, on aperçoit la majestueuse façade du Muséum d'histoire naturelle. A l'intérieur, c'est éblouissant, mastodonte rescapé d'une exposition universelle.
A voir absolument !
/ If you might think you're in France in the library, the outside red buses défilé reminds you where you are...
Just behind the buses, you can admire the Natural History Museum, big mammoth building saved from a past universal exhibition. Worth seeing it from inside too !
